Celebrated as one of the finest songwriters on the planet Declan O’Rourke and counts Ronnie Wood, Chris Rea, Eddi Reader and Paul Brady as fans. Having performed beside Paul Weller, Bob Dylan, Planxty and Snow Patrol as well as being only one of a few solo performers to make a repeat appearance on the Other Voices show Declan O’Rourke brings his compelling songwriting to an intimate performance in The White Horse, Ballincollig, August 21st.

Declan O’Rourke is now set to release a new album which sees him remaster some of his most popular songs accompanied by a 50 piece orchestra. The album will also feature three new songs including single “Children of 16”. The single was written as part of the centenary celebrations of The Easter Rising and officially acknowledges the 40 civilian children who were killed in and around Dublin during Easter week, of 1916.
