Deuce – A Tribute to Rory Gallagher will pay homage to their hero with a 70th Birthday show at Fred Zeppelins in Cork on the night of his birth date.
 
Gallagher was a self taught virtuoso who forged a musical revolution in his native land and became a universally acclaimed international folk hero. Friday March 2nd would have marked Rory Gallagher’s 70th birthday. Born in Ballyshannon, Co Donegal in 1948, Rory resided in Cork and tragically passed away at the age of 47 in 1995 .
 
Deuce were formed by three friends who met busking at the Rory Gallagher Festival in Ballyshannon in 2012. Being huge Rory fans, the trio decided to build on their experience by forming a dedicated tribute band. Committed to bringing Rory Gallagher’s fantastic music to the stage, they have continued playing their energetic live shows with a packed set of Rorys classic songs.
