Soulful Northern Irish singer-songwriter Amanda St John released her debut album ‘Grow’ in May this year. The title track has featured in international TV ads for the Rio Olympics. The album which was produced in N.Ireland by Michael Mormecha (Malojian, Pat Dam Smyth, Mojo Fury etc.) includes co-writes with Jon Tiven, Grammy nominated USA writer/producer who has worked with The Rolling Stones, BB King, Wilson Pickett etc.

Renowned for her soulful and emotive live performances St John is a staple of the N.Irish gig and festival scene and has been touring the album throughout N. Ireland in 2016. Having previously shared the stage with artists like Duke Special, Eddi Reader, Brian Kennedy, Mary Coughlan, Ciaran Lavery, Ciaran Gribbin (of INXS) St John is set to embrace her first ever Irish Tour dates in venues across Ireland. With her co-writer and right hand man Paul Tierney on Guitar and Paul Davison on piano St John hopes to introduce her songs and powerful vocals to new audiences.

Talking of the Irish dates St John says “I have hand picked some of my favourite live music venues across Ireland that suit an intimate, acoustic sound. There’s something special about communicating the songs in a stripped back way and I’m so looking forward to connecting to new music fans.”

Having just received an Artist Career Enhancement grant from the Arts Council NI to support the UK leg of her tour in 2017 the future is looking very bright for St John.
