Ahead of the release of their sophomore release “Madness Is The Mercy” on September 9th, August Wells have released a new single from the album “This Man Cries”.

Giving us a taste of what to expect Ken Griffins’ wit comes to the fore on “This Man Cries” as he chroons, “I don’t mind waking up on the kitchen floor// Men like me kinda expect that’s what a kitchen floor is for”. Griffin’s wry observations on life, disillusion and unfulfilled potential tell a tale that is universal. Combining an Americana accompaniment that incorporates strummed guitar along and a wistful trumpet with Irish storytelling August Wells are sure to make an impact with their latest release.
