“There’s a ribbon cut around my soul” sings Pleasure Beach on their new singe “Magic Mountain” released April 22nd. The second track from the Belfast group it encapsulates their dreamy wanderlust vibe.

Full on Springsteen influences are heard as a guitar riff throughout “Magic Mountain” as Pleasure Beach prove they are our psychedelic answer for summery road trips and traveling reveries. “Magic Mountain” is a relentless track as it takes us on a sonic journey passing by dancing synths, rhythmic guitars and pounding drums. Proving they are no one hit wonder after the phenomenal success of debut single “Go”, Pleasure Beach are an act you need to see live and as it happens they have several summer festivals lined up which I imagine are their Elysian Fields.

Pleasure Beach play The Academy, May 14th.

Festival dates:
Sea Sessions – June 25th
Longitude – July 15th
