The North Sea are set to play their biggest venue to date in Dublin’s Whelans on the 10th of March. They have also just release another track “Belong” from the critically acclaimed debut album “Anniversary”.

Singer Eoin Kenny says “Belong is about the ties between family and how we all need each other. The similarities that bond us also frustrate and cause friction. The song explores the pain that is felt when these ties are broken”.

The North Sea are a five piece from North Dublin, Ireland and have been compared to bands such as Editors, Interpol and Neutral Milk Hotel.

The band released their debut album “Anniversary” on Friday the 26th of June. This ten track album was recorded live to tape in order to capture their live sound, by Grammy Award winning Irish producer David Odlum at Black Box Studios in France.
