Following a fantastic Dublin Racing Festival that saw 25,000 people visit Leopardstown Racecourse, Bulmers Live at Leopardstown returns in summer 2019 with another superb bill of live music complimenting as always, an exciting eight weeks of top class flat racing.

Leopardstown Racecourse is thrilled to announce a first for the summer series with the visit of legendary US rapper Coolio on Thursday June 13. Coolio took over the world rap scene in the 90’s through the immense success of ‘Gangsta’s Paradise’, which won a Grammy for Best Rap Performance. It sold over six million copies and was Billboard Magazine’s number one single in 1995. ‘Gangsta’s Paradise’ was also featured on the Dangerous Minds soundtrack and movie.

The rapper went on to win an American Music Award, three MTV awards, two Billboard Music Awards and a total of six Grammy nominations. Coolio joins a long list of international stars that have played Bulmers Live at Leopardstown in recent years including Sister Sledge, Happy Mondays, Johnny Marr, The Human League & most recently, The Waterboys. These and more have ensured the series has become a firm fixture on Dublin’s summer calendar, with a unique combination of live music with horse racing, great food and hospitality options for those looking for fun festival vibes and a Thursday night’s outdoor entertainment.

Coolio is just the first announcement of Bulmers Live at Leopardstown 2019, with another seven more artists set to be revealed for the summer beginning on June 6, running through July with the final event on Thursday August 15.

As always, the performances will be preceded by an excellent card of racing and a wide selection of ticket options, from the great value ‘Summer Sizzler’, which at €33 includes admission to the racing and concert, Bulmers (or soft) drink, €10 festival food voucher and €5 tote bet, to The Pavilion Party – a reserved table in the Pavilion or The Panoramic Suite; with views overlooking the finishing straight, where you can enjoy banqueting buffet style dining for only €70.
