There’s less than two days to go until INDIE19 kicks off at Deer Farm, Mitchelstown, Co Cork with an amazing line-up in store that includes Bastille, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Biffy Clyro, Lewis Capaldi, Gavin James and a veritable who’s who of Irish music past, present and future.

Weekend Camping Tickets, Friday Day Tickets and VIP Tickets have already sold out for the three day festival, with very limited Saturday and Sunday Day Tickets still remaining, along with limited numbers of Festi-Huts and Pamper The Camper tickets.

In an eco-friendly drive this summer, INDIE19 are introducing new measures to help the festival become more environmentally aware, including a Heineken Cup return back scheme that will see patrons collect €2 for every ten cups, which are then recycled and turned in to garden furniture. Look out for the return huts on site.

All bottled water on site will be in biodegradable bottles, while all food vendors at INDIE19 are using biodegradable and compostable utensils only. Organisers are asking patrons to use the recycling bins provided, return beer cups and most importantly to take your tent home on Monday in a joint effort to single use as much as possible.

Garda Age verification tents will be in use all weekend and at both entrances. Where there is a concern over the validity of an ID, this will be dealt with by An Garda Siochána. Anyone who looks under 25 year of age will need to keep their ID on them at all times. Full details are available on the INDIE19 website. Festival goers can also now download the new INDIE19 App for iPhone and Android.

This summer INDIE will celebrate its tenth year at Deer Farm. One of Ireland’s festival success stories over the last decade, INDIE has grown over the years from its initial three thousand capacity at Deer Farm into a fully-fledged summer spectacular with up to 15,000 people expected in 2019.
