INDIE19 can reveal its third headliner for this summer’s festival and is delighted to welcome Catfish and The Bottlemen to Deer Farm, Mitchelstown, this August Bank Holiday Weekend, joining Biffy Clyro and Bastille to top the biggest bill to date.

INDIE19’s DayXDay line-up has also been announced on the festival website and social media, with Day Tickets priced at €59 including booking fee available from March 1 at 9am. For those planning the full three-day INDIE19 weekend, an Instalment Plan is now available for Weekend Tickets too (see www.indiependence.com).

Following the release of their new singles, ‘Longshot’ and ‘Fluctuate’, Catfish and The Bottlemen play two sold out shows at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre before releasing their third album The Balance ahead of their INDIE19 appearance. The Brit Award-winning alt-rockers already have stunning Lollapalooza and Glastonbury sets under their belt and arrive at INDIE19 with their previous album The Ride crashing the UK charts at Number 1.  

Catfish and The Bottlemen join a growing bill for INDIE19, that already includes fellow headliners Biffy Clyro and Bastille, as well as Gavin James, Lewis Capaldi, Maxi Jazz (DJ Set), All Tvvins, Hannah Wants, The Undertones, Wild Youth, The Frank & Walters, Kerbdog, Something Happens, Fangclub, Le Boom, Laoise, Ryan McMullan, Dagny, Chasing Abbey, AE Mak, Thanks Brother and more already announced . . .

Joining them today are Limerick’s finest folk rockers, Hermitage Green, Otherkin, Call Me Loop, Yonaka, Somebody’s Child and more. New additions to INDIE19 also include Pamper the Camper – a one stop shop for festival gear – will be on site at INDIE for the first time while INDIE19 will see more improvements to its attractive VIP area, releasing the same number of tickets but doubling all facilities and increasing the camping space.

This summer INDIE will celebrate its tenth year at Deer Farm. One of Ireland’s festival success stories over the last decade, INDIE has grown over the years from its initial three thousand capacity at Deer Farm into a fully-fledged summer spectacular with up to 15,000 people expected in 2019.

Weekend Camping Tickets are on sale now at €149 with weekend VIP Camping Tickets also on sale at €189. There are a limited amount of Festi-huts remaining for INDIE19 so those wishing to rent one for the festival are advised to do so soon.
