Spilt Milk is a three day festival of music, film and art which takes place in Sligo, Ireland each November. The festival brings national and international artists to perform and exhibit in intimate venues across Sligo Town alongside emerging local artists. The event is taking place this weekend November 27-29th.

Festival organisers said: “Due to Covid we have gone through a few iterations of what the second Spilt Milk might look like. Unlike many other festival and event organisers we had the relative luxury of playing a game of wait-and-see and as we headed into Autumn we were still planning for a reduced capacity festival in Sligo Town. This year has shown us we cannot take anything for granted, and as the public health situation changed again in October we quickly pivoted to move the 2020 festival online. This time, the festival will be presenting a special online edition called Transmission, which will be a three-day tapestry of forward thinking and homegrown music and art. All together in a rich and varied programme.”

Spilt Milk builds on the activities of a group of like-minded individuals each already working within the music landscape and passionate about building a community in Sligo that joins the wider burgeoning alternative music scene across the island of Ireland.

The line up for the three day festival includes: JESSICA BRUEN; THE CLUMSY GIANTESS & TRENCHURIAN; AMANDA FEERY & DECLAN SYNOTT; JOHN FRANCIS FLYNN; THE HILLS HAVE EARS; HOWLBUX; JUNK DRAWER; MYLES MANLEY; M(H)AOL; MOVING STILL; AILBHE NICOIRECHTAIGH; BRIGID MAE POWER; PRETTY HAPPY; RISING DAMP; TEN PAST SEVEN; WILLIE, NATALIA & ROOSTER; and YOP.

Spilt Milk Festival will take place across Zoom and YouTube for the three days. For more information and to tune in go to http://spiltmilkfestival.com/
