Mega-selling singer-songwriter David Gray has announced a special open-air performance at Irish Independent Park in Cork on Saturday, June 20, as part of his White Ladder: The 20th Anniversary Tour.

Gray will play to fans at the Lesside venue, in what will no doubt be another ‘giant singalong,’ as promised by Gray on RTÉ’s The Ray D’Arcy Show last October.

White Ladder is the biggest-selling album of all time in Ireland and Gray has arranged to have all the original band members and all the original equipment available to him to recreate the record in its entirety for these much-anticipated performances.

An expanded 20th anniversary edition of White Ladder, soon to be released, will include a remastered edition of the album with previously unreleased rarities, B-sides and demos. Physical versions of the release will be accompanied by Gray’s account of the White Ladder experience, featuring the stories behind the songs.

Gray and his band will play White Ladder in its entirety in Cork and will also perform the entire work at the SSE Arena in Belfast on Tuesday, March 31. The musician will also play the album at Dublin’s 3Arena on Thursday, April 2 and Friday, April 3 next year.

General tickets go on sale at 9.00am this Friday, November 15 via www.ticketmaster.ie and www.davidgray.com. Subject to licence.
