Irish acts from across the country will perform as part of Songs from an Empty Room this July In support of Minding Creative Minds and the Association of Irish Stage Technicians (AIST) Hardship Fund.

RTÉ2, RTÉ 2FM, and RTÉ Player will broadcast Songs from An Empty Room on Saturday, July 25 from 20:30 -22:45 with performances from some of Ireland’s best live acts.

The event will have over two hours of Irish musical talent hosted in venues around the country, including The Olympia Theatre, Cyprus Avenue, Dolan’s, INEC and Roisin Dubh. Presented by Eoghan McDermott and Jenny Greene, acts featured include; Aimée,Denise Chaila, Eve Belle, FiaMoon, Gavin James, Jafaris, James Vincent McMorrow, Lisa McHugh, Lyra, Mother DJs, Noel Hogan (The Cranberries) with Danny O’Reilly (The Coronas), Picture This, Sorcha Richardson, Soulé, The Academic, The Blizzards,The Coronas, and The Stunning.

The event is produced by EPIC – Event Production Industry Covid-19 Working Group – a cross-event working group representing the Live Events Sector formed to help the industry during the current crisis. EPIC have said “Songs From An Empty Room is a show not to be missed! It will be a memorable, poignant and a historical night of music in these extraordinary times. In addition to providing an incredible night of entertainment, the broadcast will also feature fascinating content from behind the scenes of Ireland’s event industry and the people that make it all happen.”
