As restrictions start to lift music venues, pubs and clubs prepare to re-open with new measures in place to ensure social distancing while maintaining good vibes. Music heads surviving on live streams since March have been scrolling furiously awaiting the first announcements of live music and a return to the arts scene.

Not the first to make such an announcement but one gladly met Kino Cork announced a whopper opening lineup for it’s summer season. With The Tan Jackets, who wowed at Quarter Block Party back in February if you can remember back that far, Junior Brother, The Mary Wallopers, with a double headliner, and Foxy P. Cox’s Peacock Parlour all revealed with tickets on sale this Wednesday.

Line up looks like this:

Friday 24th July – The Tan Jackets Rock & Roll Revue – €12 + booking fee per person – Doors 9pm.

Saturday 25th July – Junior Borther – €15 + booking fee per person – Doors 9pm.

Friday 31st July – The Mary Wallopers – €20 + booking fee per person – Doors 9pm.

Saturday 1st August – The Mary Wallopers – €20 + booking fee per person – Doors 9pm.

Sunday 2nd August – Foxy P.Cox’s Peacock Parlour – €25 + booking fee per person – Doors 8pm

For gigs and events, under the new guidelines Kino Cork are reducing capacity from 200 down to 60 people. All shows will be fully seated at tables for 2 – 5 people. Staff will provide table service and there will be a brand new cocktail menu to “whet your whistle while you listen to actual live music”.
