Following the electrifying success of their single ‘Salami’ – which featured on BBC Introducing, BBC6, KEXP in Seattle and ‘Track of the Week’ on 2FM – Pretty Happy are back with new wave, post-punk goodness on their latest single ‘Sea Sea Sea’.

Pretty Happy’s use of absurdist lyrics and idiosyncratic melodies takes influence from bands such as Pixies, Talking Heads, and Sonic Youth; forming a rock sound that is one part slick rock band, one part unhinged punk and one part avant-garde theatre. New single ‘Sea Sea Sea’ sees Pretty Happy coming into their own as storytellers and creatives, embracing the drama of their live performances with strong melodic riffs and unforgiving thumping drums.

‘Sea Sea Sea’ is a deep dive into the choppy waters of queer identity and gender stereotyping with slick rock ear worms clashing against raw vocal outbursts. ‘Sea Sea Sea’ is the latest offering from the Cork trio ahead of the release of their new EP later this year.
