This year’s St. Patrick’s Day Festival programme has been revealed.

The National St. Patrick’s Festival returns in 2021, and while we cannot gather on the streets for the St. Patrick’s parade, this year they are reimagining the event across 6 days. The event will feature a rich and dynamic programme of festival events, featuring hundreds of artists, musicians, performers, makers, creators, arts and live events workers and community organisations across Ireland.

Taking place between March 12-17 this year’s theme is Dúisigh Éire! Awaken Ireland! The festival invites everyone “to throw off the long, dark months and rise to embrace the brighter days ahead.”

The Festival will take place online this year and will be available to watch across the world. Over the 6 days you can tune in to their dedicated TV channel on http://www.stpatricksfestival.ie/spftv and take a front row seat for all the events.

A full programme schedule, days and times will be available in early March, so you can stream the events live as they broadcast or watch them back on the website Player.

In terms of music, there’s a host of Irish talent including New Jackson, Pillow Queens, Colm Mac Con Iomaire, Mary Coughlan, Myles O’Reilly, Gemma Dunleavy, Sorca McGrath, Gareth Quinn Redmond, Matthew Nolan, Lisa Hannigan, Adrian Crowley, Matthew Campbell and more.
